Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about bringing Porto's Bakery to your kitchen.
How are the pastries shipped to ensure freshness?
Our pastries are unbaked and frozen, then shipped in insulated coolers with dry ice to maintain their temperature during transit. They arrive ready to be placed in your freezer or popped directly into the oven.
Do I need any special equipment to bake Porto's at home?
No special equipment is required. You will only need a standard home oven, a baking sheet, and parchment paper (which we include in every order).
What is the shipping timeframe for my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. We use expedited shipping to ensure your package arrives within 2 days of leaving our facility to prevent thawing.
Can I return or exchange food items?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with the quality, please contact our guest service team within 24 hours for a replacement or refund.
Are there baking instructions included?
Yes, every box includes a detailed baking instruction card. You can also find video tutorials and digital instructions for all our products on our website.
How long can I keep the pastries in my freezer?
For the best quality and flavor, we recommend baking your Porto's Bake at Home items within 30 days of receipt, though they can safely remain frozen for up to 60 days.
